ศูนย์ศึกษาอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มน้ำโขง (GMS Studies Center) มหาวิทยาลัยนครพนม ร่วมกับ Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS), Kyoto University ประเทศญี่ปุ่น จัดประชุมนำเสนอความก้าวหน้าการดำเนินงานวิจัยเรื่อง Agriculture Transformation กรณีศึกษาในพื้นที่ Dondang–Donchareon จังหวัดขอนแก่น และพื้นที่ Prasong จังหวัดนครพนม ณ ห้องประชุมคณะเกษตรและเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยนครพนม

 

ในการนี้ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.เสาวคนธ์ เหมวงษ์ คณบดีคณะเกษตรและเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยนครพนม ให้เกียรติเป็นประธานกล่าวต้อนรับคณะนักวิจัยและผู้เข้าร่วมประชุม ซึ่งการประชุมครั้งนี้มีนักวิจัยและผู้เกี่ยวข้องเข้า ประกอบด้วย Prof. Dr. Yayusuki Kono, Kyoto University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jessadakorn Kalapong, Doshisha Women’s College of Liberal Arts, Kyoto, ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อรรถชัย จินตะเวช มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่, ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.โสรัจจ์ ประวีณวงศ์วุฒิ ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์ศึกษาอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มน้ำโขง มหาวิทยาลัยนครพนม และรองคณบดีคณะเกษตรและเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยนครพนม และ คุณธนากร อึ้งดำรงกุล สำนักงานเศรษฐกิจการเกษตรที่ 3

 

โดยที่ประชุมได้ร่วมกันนำเสนอความก้าวหน้าของงานวิจัย แลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลจากพื้นที่ศึกษา ตลอดจนหารือแนวทางการดำเนินงานวิจัยในระยะต่อไป เพื่อให้การศึกษาการเปลี่ยนแปลงของภาคการเกษตรในแต่ละพื้นที่มีความต่อเนื่อง และสามารถนำข้อมูลมาใช้ประกอบการวิเคราะห์ร่วมกันได้

 

สำหรับความร่วมมือดังกล่าวได้ดำเนินมาอย่างต่อเนื่องเป็นระยะเวลา 3 ปี ภายใต้บันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (MOU) ระหว่าง Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS), Kyoto University และ ศูนย์ศึกษาอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มน้ำโขง (GMS Studies Center) มหาวิทยาลัยนครพนม โดยมี ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.โสรัจจ์ ประวีณวงศ์วุฒิ ในฐานะผู้อำนวยการศูนย์ฯ และรองคณบดีคณะเกษตรและเทคโนโลยี เป็นส่วนสำคัญในการประสานและขับเคลื่อนความร่วมมือด้านการวิจัยระหว่างเครือข่ายนักวิชาการของทั้งสองสถาบัน

 

ในโอกาสเดียวกัน ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.เสาวคนธ์ เหมวงษ์ ได้เรียนเชิญ Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS), Kyoto University เข้าร่วม การประชุมวิชาการเกษตรลุ่มน้ำโขง ประจำปี พ.ศ. 2570 ซึ่งคณะเกษตรและเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยนครพนม จะจัดขึ้น เพื่อเป็นอีกโอกาสหนึ่งในการแลกเปลี่ยนผลงานวิจัยและสานต่อความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างกัน

The GMS Studies Center, Nakhon Phanom University (NPU), in collaboration with the Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS), Kyoto University, Japan, held a research progress meeting on the “Agriculture Transformation” project, focusing on case studies in Dondang–Donchareon, Khon Kaen Province, and Prasong, Nakhon Phanom Province.

 

Asst. Prof. Dr. Saowakorn Hemwong, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology, NPU, welcomed the research team. Participants included researchers and academics from Kyoto University, Doshisha Women’s College of Liberal Arts, Chiang Mai University, Nakhon Phanom University, and the Office of Agricultural Economics 3.

 

The meeting provided an opportunity to present research progress, exchange field data, and discuss future research directions on agricultural transformation in the study areas.

 

This collaboration has continued for three years under an MOU between CSEAS, Kyoto University, and the GMS Studies Center, NPU, with Asst. Prof. Dr. Sorat Praveenwongwut, Director of the GMS Studies Center and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology, playing a key role in coordinating and advancing the research partnership.

 

On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Saowakorn Hemwong also invited CSEAS, Kyoto University, to participate in the Mekong Agriculture Academic Conference 2027, to be hosted by the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology, Nakhon Phanom University.
